Your Boring Niche Shortlist is in the community

Preview15 niches where small faceless channels are getting paid right now

Ramon Acevedoto {FIRST NAME}

Hey {FIRST NAME},

I promised you a gift for saving your seat, so here's where to find it.

It's called The 2026 Boring Niche Shortlist.

The 2026 Boring Niche Shortlist cover

It's 15 faceless niches where small channels are getting paid right now. Each one comes with a real example channel and the format it uses, so you can see what's working before you make anything.

I pulled every one of them from the Viral Niche Library inside my community, Faceless YouTube Secrets.

It's not coming by email. It's in the Classroom of the free Skool community for the class:

Grab it and thank me later.

Then circle two or three niches that jump out at you, but don't lock one in yet. On Thursday I'll show you the exact search I run to check whether a niche is really paying, and you can test your picks live.

P.S. The community's also where the live link goes out on Thursday, so it's worth joining even if you never open the shortlist.

What I mean by a “boring” niche

PreviewAnd why the boring ones are where small channels get paid

Ramon Acevedoto {FIRST NAME}

Hey {FIRST NAME},

When I say “boring niche”, a lot of people picture a channel nobody wants to watch.

That's not what I mean at all.

I mean topics like history, aviation, food rankings or health science. Nobody brags about making videos on stuff like that.

Every week on my YouTube channel I break down faceless channels in niches like these, and the same thing keeps showing up: channels you've never heard of, getting paid for videos most people would scroll right past.

Meanwhile, most beginners go after the niches that feel exciting, the ones they'd binge themselves. Those are packed, and a lot of them don't pay much per view.

That's the first move in what I call the Proven Format Method. Pick the boring niche, not the viral one.

The second move is cloning the format of videos that are already working, never the video itself. The third is letting AI do the heavy lifting while you make the decisions, so it never turns into AI slop.

On Thursday I'm walking through all three with my screen up the whole time, starting with the exact search I run to check a niche before making a single video.

Ramon

P.S. Next email's a personal one. I failed at YouTube three times before I figured any of this out, and the first time I was 12.

i failed at youtube for 14 years

PreviewThe first video flopped when I was 12. The next two attempts did too.

Ramon Acevedoto {FIRST NAME}

Hey {FIRST NAME},

I filmed my first YouTube video when I was 12. I wanted to be a famous YouTuber, and it flopped.

At 16 I tried again, and it flopped again.

By 24 I'd been to film school and I had a background in digital marketing. I was certain that this time I'd make it.

It failed for the third time.

Ramon with his head on his keyboard, from his video about 14 years of failing at YouTubeYouTube
From my video “I FAILED AT YOUTUBE FOR 14 YEARS”

Every time, I figured the answer was to get better at making videos.

So I stopped guessing. I studied the top creators, read every book and took every course I could find, and I started paying attention to what was already working instead of what I wanted to make.

That trial and error is what finally changed things.

It led to a faceless channel with 20M+ views, a YouTube agency with 20+ clients, and a faceless channel I grew past 100K subscribers and then sold. Since then I've helped 700+ creators build their own channels.

I'm telling you this because if you've tried YouTube before and it didn't work, I know exactly how that feels.

And it probably wasn't your editing or your consistency either.

It was the niche you picked and the format you copied.

That's what Thursday is about, and I'll see you there at 12:00 PM PT.

Ramon

P.S. Next up is the question I get asked more than any other: how a faceless channel actually gets paid.

How a faceless channel actually gets paid

PreviewIt comes down to three letters most beginners never look at

Ramon Acevedoto {FIRST NAME}

Hey {FIRST NAME},

I promised you an answer, so let's get it out of the way before Thursday.

How does a faceless channel actually make money?

The main way is the YouTube Partner Program. Once your channel has 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 public watch hours in the last 12 months, you can apply. If you're approved, YouTube runs ads on your videos and pays you a share.

But here's the part most people never look at.

YouTube doesn't pay the same for every view. The number that matters is your RPM, which is what you actually earn for every 1,000 views.

And RPM changes a lot depending on your niche, because advertisers pay more to reach some audiences than others.

So two channels can get the exact same views in a month and get paid completely different amounts, just because of what they make videos about.

That's why I start with the niche and not with what's fun.

Plenty of people pick a niche they enjoy, grind for a year, finally get monetized, and then find out the views they fought for barely pay.

On Thursday I'll show you how I check whether small channels in a niche are already getting paid, before you make a single video.

Ramon

P.S. In a couple of hours I'll answer the other big one: do you need a camera, a mic or your own voice for any of this?

What it takes06 / 21

Do you need a camera, a mic or your own voice?

PreviewNo, no and no. Here's what you actually need.

Ramon Acevedoto {FIRST NAME}

Hey {FIRST NAME},

Before Thursday, I want to clear up what this actually takes, because a lot of people talk themselves out of it before they ever start.

You don't need a camera. Nobody ever sees your face.

You don't need your own voice either. One of my members got monetized in under 60 days without ever using hers.

You don't need to be good at editing, and you don't need expensive gear.

Here's what I use to make a video:

  • Claude for the script, built from a format that's already working
  • ElevenLabs for the voice
  • CapCut for the edit

Those three tools are pretty much all I use.

What it does take is time you actually protect. Once the workflow clicks, a finished video takes about an afternoon.

And you have to stop guessing. Most people lose months switching niches and copying random videos, and that's where the time really goes.

On Thursday I'm showing you my whole workflow with those three tools, plus the inauthentic content trap that kills channels right at monetization review.

Ramon

P.S. In a few days I'll tell you the full story of that member who got monetized without her voice. She'd already failed with two channels before.

She'd already failed with two channels

PreviewThen we made a $1,000 bet

Ramon Acevedoto {FIRST NAME}

Hey {FIRST NAME},

I want to tell you about one of my members.

When she came to me, she'd already failed with two faceless channels. She didn't want to use her own voice, and she wanted to stay completely anonymous.

So we made a $1,000 bet, and I gave her a simple 3-step checklist to follow.

She followed it.

In less than 60 days, her new channel hit monetization. And in her very first month, she made over $900.

She never showed her face and never used her own voice, and she's the same person who'd failed twice before.

I'm telling you this because a lot of people reading this have tried YouTube before. If that's you, a couple of channels that didn't work don't say anything about whether you can do this. Most of the time they just mean you were guessing.

On Thursday I'm walking you through the exact steps I'd follow if I were starting a channel from zero today.

And if you want to see her story first, I filmed the whole bet. It's on my YouTube channel:

The real problem08 / 21

Why your videos are stuck at 2 views

PreviewAnd why grinding harder never fixes it

Ramon Acevedoto {FIRST NAME}

Hey {FIRST NAME},

If you've posted videos before, there's a good chance some of them sat at 2 views.

You spent a whole weekend on one, hit publish, and YouTube basically didn't show it to anyone.

Most people react in one of two ways. They decide their editing isn't good enough or they're not posting enough, so they grind harder. Or they decide the niche was the problem, and they switch.

One of my members, Zetiandolla, put it like this:

“I've been on and off YouTube, and I've changed niches so many times.”

I hear some version of that every week.

Here's what's really going on. A brand-new channel has no subscribers, so YouTube tries your video on a small group of people and watches what they do. If the topic isn't something they already want, and the title and thumbnail don't make them curious, they don't click. And when nobody clicks, YouTube stops showing it.

Your editing never even gets a chance.

So it was never your editing or your consistency.

It was the niche you picked and the format you copied.

When you start from a niche where small channels are already getting paid, and you rebuild a format that's already proven to pull views, your first upload has demand behind it from day one.

That's exactly what I'm walking through on Thursday, live, with my screen up.

Ramon

P.S. Tomorrow I'll go one level deeper: how I know a video idea works before I've made it.

How I know a video idea works before I make it

PreviewIt starts with finding the outlier

Ramon Acevedoto {FIRST NAME}

Hey {FIRST NAME},

Yesterday I said your first upload should have demand behind it from day one.

The obvious next question is how you're supposed to know that before you've made anything.

The answer is outlier videos.

An outlier is a video that does way better than everything else on its channel. If most of a channel's uploads barely move and one of them blows past all the others, that one's an outlier.

Now here's the second layer, and it's the one most people miss. I only care about outliers on small channels.

A big channel can get views on almost anything, because it's got a huge audience that'll click whatever it posts. That tells you nothing about what you can do.

But when a small channel with hardly any subscribers gets an outlier, the subscribers didn't do that. The topic and the packaging did. That's an audience telling you, as clearly as it ever will, what it wants to watch.

So you don't copy that video. You keep the format, meaning the angle, the structure, the hook and the style of title and thumbnail, and you rebuild it around your own topic.

One of my members, Abdullah Saleem, sent me this after one of his videos passed 1k views:

“Hey Ramon. Yeah you were right. Video is over 1k views now & i just ideated more videos based on that video thumbnail & title stretegy so gonna double down on that”

And that's what you do once one format works for you. You make more of it.

On Thursday I'll pull up real outliers on my screen and rebuild one live.

Ramon

P.S. Tonight I'm taking on the question that scares people the most: whether AI is going to get your channel demonetized.

The AI question10 / 21

Will AI get your channel demonetized?

PreviewWhere YouTube actually draws the line

Ramon Acevedoto {FIRST NAME}

Hey {FIRST NAME},

This is the one that scares people the most, so it gets its own email.

You've probably heard that YouTube is cracking down on AI channels. That part's true, but most people take the wrong lesson from it.

YouTube isn't turning channels down for using AI. It's turning down channels that are mass-produced, where every upload looks and sounds the same and nobody's really making any decisions. That falls under its inauthentic content policy, and it's what I call AI slop.

I've made whole videos on this, including one where I studied 100+ demonetized channels, because I get asked about it constantly.

The AI videos that do get monetized look different:

  • The script is built from a proven format, not a blank page
  • The voice is tuned to the channel
  • Someone picks every visual
  • Each video gives viewers something they already want to watch

Everyone's using the same tools. What makes the difference is who's making the decisions.

On Thursday I'm showing you my whole workflow with Claude, ElevenLabs and CapCut, plus the inauthentic content trap that kills channels at monetization review, so you know where the line is before you ever apply.

Ramon

P.S. Remember the member who'd failed twice? She built her channel with AI, never used her own voice, and got monetized in under 60 days.

  1. How to find a “boring” niche that's already paying small channelsThe exact search I run to spot high-RPM niches where tiny faceless channels are getting paid right now, before you make a single video.
  2. The Proven Format method for cloning what works without copying a single videoHow to find outlier videos on small channels and rebuild the format around your own topic, so your first upload already has demand behind it.

I know what you're thinking

PreviewStraight answers to the questions I always get

Ramon Acevedoto {FIRST NAME}

Hey {FIRST NAME},

Whenever I talk about this, y'all ask me the same few questions. So here are straight answers before tomorrow.

“I've never made a YouTube video.”

That's completely fine. One of my members, Kevin Ingvallsson, started his review of my community like this:

“I'm completely new to the faceless content and have never done anything like this before…”

Starting from zero means you've got no bad habits to unlearn.

“I don't want to show my face or use my voice.”

You never have to. Every channel I'm showing you tomorrow is faceless.

“I don't have much time.”

Once the workflow clicks, a finished video takes about an afternoon. You'll see the whole workflow tomorrow.

“Why is this free?”

Because I failed at YouTube for 14 years and nobody ever pulled up their screen and showed me how. So I do it every week on YouTube, and tomorrow I'm doing it for 90 minutes straight.

“Are you going to sell me something?”

At the very end, I'll tell you how you can work with me and my team if you want help doing this. You don't have to. Everything up to that point is the full method, and you keep the prompt pack either way.

See you tomorrow at 12:00 PM PT (3:00 PM ET).

He asked me which title I'd click

PreviewHis first video passed 1,000 views in under 48 hours

Ramon Acevedoto {FIRST NAME}

Hey {FIRST NAME},

One of my members, Abanoub Amin, was getting ready to post the very first video on his brand-new channel. It was travel tips for people coming to the United States.

He posted five title ideas in my community and asked which one I'd click.

I liked his first one, but it needed more tension. So I wrote back with a couple of options:

Abanoub's five title ideas and Ramon's reply suggesting two versions with more tension
My reply to Abanoub inside Faceless YouTube Secrets

He went with the second one, the version that ends “unless you want your visa denied”.

Two days later, he posted this:

“…my first video on my new YouTube channel and less than 48 hours, I reach 1000 views…”

That was the only video on a brand-new channel.

He didn't redo the video or learn some new editing trick. The only thing we changed was the packaging, the words people see before they decide whether to click.

This is what I mean when I say your editing was never the problem. A new channel lives or dies on the click, and the click comes down to the topic, the title and the thumbnail.

Tomorrow I'll show you how I build titles off outlier videos, so you're not guessing at them.

Ramon

P.S. Inside my community I review titles like this every week on Feedback Fridays. Tomorrow you'll see me do it live.
